Did you ever try to pick up Likutey Moharan and you just couldn’t put all the pieces together. Well I felt the same way until I decided to work out every last detail and put it writing. These notes were so helpful to me I had a hard time understanding why no one ever mapped out Likutay Moharan before for all of us beginners (and even for some non-beginners).

I have many of the Torahs of Likutay Moharan already mapped out but before I start posting them I would like to explain some of the principals I used in coming to this map.

Simplifiying Likutey Moharan to the ultimate level I found two principals

  1. Bechinas and
  2. Advice

If you can master these two aspects of any given Torah you could say that you have a basic understanding of that Torah.

Understanding the bechinas mean understanding which bechinas are connected and how. The rebbe said ‘My torahs are completely bechinas’ Sichos Haran 200.

Understanding the advice in this context means understanding the stages of development that the Rebbe is explaining, which one comes fist and which one comes second.

The Rebbe said ‘All my torahs are completely introductions’ Sichos Haran 200.

In the upcoming posts you will see examples of the above.
